Glen lives in Cincinnati, Ohio

LIFE & HISTORICAL EVENTS

Glen M. Steely was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky. 

Glen was a school teacher for over 30 years. 

GOSPEL MUSIC MINISTRY

During High School he sang with the Gospel Four for a couple years. 

In the mid 1960s he sang with some Nationals Quartet for about one year. 

In 1968 he became one of the original members of the Crownsmen Quartet based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.  He remained with them until they disbanded in 1995.  While singing with the Crownsmen he had the opportunity to sing at both the Ryman Auditorium and the Nashville Opry House. 

Along the way, to enhance his singing skills, Glen was able to complete some vocal training from Dr. Charles Novell.

About year 2000, he started singing with the Ball Family remaining with them for about 12 years. 

Then in 2013 he, along with some of the other members, reorganizing the Crownsmen and they continue to sing today.
